Been a bit since I did one of these huh?
I decided to give you a weekend break from my constant complaining.
"That cake looks bomb," is seriously one of the more unique/awesome things I have hear you say. If anyone could get away with still using that phrase, its you.
Sadly the cake, like the birthday was not, "bomb." Flora didn't surprise me(I don't think I really expected her to cut her work trip short for a guy she doesn't know that well's b-day just so i can ask her out)(she'd take one look at my life, 41 and living in my dads basement and run away screaming)), I didn't get my truck(but I did get a call from the dealership I've been trying to work with...stating that there's even more delays in setting up orders. Yay.)
Symptom wise, here's an update; The left fingers are locking like crazy still. Especially the ring finger(not that ring will ever go on it sadly), the middle finger(extensively used, and sometimes the index finger. There's every so often a slight tremor in the thumb still. It is, at times(kinda like now...) very hard to type. But, I've been thinking...could the hand stuff be a result of the injury I had all those years ago and not P.D.?
I have been doing a lot of running, gotten up to 3 miles. My hand arm kinda lock up briefly, but I push through and it goes away mainly.
The run I tried to do Saturday though was the worst I've had in a long time. My toes even curled at the beginning for like 5 minutes till I just forced myself to keep going, but my body just wasn't having it. I felt gassed the whole time, maybe because it was the first time I'd tried doing 3 days in a row, I'm not sure, butt it I only got like 2.30 miles in, and that was a struggle. I noticed other runners on my Strava having troubles too, so at least I wasn't alone.
I really feel like I'd benefit from you, Joan, The whole team seeing me in a natural environment instead of running down a hallway for 20 seconds. Sometimes when I run, I don't notice symptoms until a few mins in...when I do get them. But thats a pipe dream I guess.
Speaking of pipe dreams, July 19th is, as you know, my one year anniversary for the surgery, and I was thinking of going to Max Brenner since I didn't get to go in Nov for my "Diagnos-iversary/Re-Birthday" due to my arm injury...Would you, Joan, Rebecca, Natalya and Dr. Panov be interested? I wanna do it as a thank you for all the help.
Lastly, i'll be uploading the video on YouTube so you can approve/disapprove/request changes/etc...in a few days. :-)
