Ok, so I'm still trying to get over the initial good news of yesterdays "No surgery" vote. Seriously, you have no idea how much of a relief that is to hear, but I do have some questions I dunno if I asked at first...1] How did the leeds move? 2] Will they continue to move? 3] Will this mean eventual surgery? 4] How can we stop them from moving again? I'm sure I'll have more but yeah, those are the important ones.
Symptom wise, the tightness has returned to the fingers, but no tremor! I'll take it as a step in the right direction. Good?
If you need me for any research, any ideas you want to try, anyone you need me to talk to, patient or otherwise, I want to help!!
That brings me to my next topic, the "Looking Up" project...I haven't forgot, I've just been consumed with elbow nonsense, but I want to get a few done before I get the elbow shit started. I hope I can. If not, i'll be using the downtime to reach out to everyone I can.
Next in relation to the arm, Dr. Michael Zachelli from Northwell(grumble)(nice to know that if I dislocated my elbow at say...Kat or Brads office, even though there are specialists trained to fix me in the same building, they can't touch me cause "insurance.") is the guy who's in all likelihood gonna be doing it. How do we prepare him for my PD side of things? Other then the shutting off of the DBS(Which is terrifying sounding still), is there anything he'll need to know or should we cross that bridge closer to the eventual procedure? Can you be there as an advisor/moral support/if I have to stay overnight you can visit?/a friendly face is always a joy to see...
