I'm trying not to think about what's happening with our nation. I'm not watching any news or tv other than HGTV&food channels& YouTube on TV. They say ignorance is bliss, right?

Weird question,do you think we can write a letter to LEGO corporate and tell them how good it's been using them to help with dexterity and maybe get a few sets sent my way? Hahaha. I doubt it.

I hope you're getting warmed up in general, but I also hope you're warning up to run. I can try&set you up with a training partner. I know a lady, roughly your age who lives in Bay Ridge that's really good if you are interested. Think it over if you wanna.

I like seeing you,not because of why I have to see you,but because you're a FRIENDLY face I feel comfortable with&who I trust with my life. I don't want to be another nameless face in the hundreds, but I get how pushy I am so I also try not to be one of those people that ends up on your "eye-roll list." It's a bit of a challenge for me to find the balance.

Patients are likely not going to see you for positive things(maybe I'm wrong),your not gonna be giving birth announcements. Yer likely gonna be telling people tough news, yet you do it with such a positive attitude&graciousness that people can't help but feel drawn to you.

That's not something you pick up from other doctors,or training,or schooling. That's something you're born with, something you build through life.

That's why Im a Superman fan. He has the power to wipe out everything, but choses good because of how ideals&how he was raised, that's why I gave you that book. Dunno if ya really read it or not, that's not the point.

The point is...doesn't matter whether it's a crazy looking lady in animal boots or an old man who's in a wheelchair,or me....You treat everyone with a kindness unlike any I've ever seen before. Don't ever lose that.

Another thing I've picked up from this book,is to be true to ones self&sense of uniqueness.

I told you I wear green in part because of you as a joke. Internally as soon as I said that I thought,"great now she thinks I'm some kinda creepy weirdo." What I didn't get to say is,it's my actual favorite color& I like it not just cause of a guy on a TV show from when I was a kid wore it(reminding me of when things were simpler.) It reminds of my Irish heritage-the one thing about my family history I do know.(I hope.),it reminds me of key lime pie,of mint, freshness& cleanliness, of awakening.

We're living in a world where everything is dark& muted. Tan& black and gray&brown. Green makes me feel different& unique in a good way& I'm proud of it.

Be proud of your weird.
So I like to use cameras when everyone uses phones. Big deal.

So you have a t-shirt with your favorite band on it. Wear it. It doesn't impact how you do your job at all. It shows you have passion for things outside of work,it sparks conversation.

I'm proud of my weird. I hope you're proud of yours too.
